Blood Alcohol Level

Blood alcohol level measures the concentration of alcohol in a person's bloodstream. It is quantified in grams of alcohol per 100 millilitres of blood. Even small increases in blood alcohol level can impair motor skills and judgment, posing risks for driving and operating machinery. The legal blood alcohol limit (BAC) for driving in the UK is 80 milligrams of alcohol per 100 milliliters of blood in England, Wales, and Northern Ireland. In Scotland, the limit is 50 milligrams of alcohol per 100 milliliters of blood.
