Chromosome 4 is one of the 23 pairs of human chromosomes. It spans about 190 million base pairs, representing approximately 6-6.5% of total DNA in cells. Known to contain over 1,000 genes, it is linked to several genetic disorders, including Huntington's disease and Parkinson's disease.
