Cirrhosis of the Liver
Cirrhosis of the liver is a serious condition where healthy liver tissue is replaced by scar tissue, impairing liver function. Causes include chronic alcohol abuse, hepatitis B or C, and fatty liver disease. Symptoms include jaundice, fatigue, and abdominal swelling. Early detection and lifestyle changes can slow the progression of cirrhosis of the liver.
