Papilloma is a benign epithelial tumour caused by human papillomavirus (HPV). It often manifests as wart-like growths on the skin or mucous membranes. While generally non-cancerous, some types of papilloma can lead to cancers such as cervical cancer. Diagnosis and treatment options include physical examination, biopsy, and possible surgical removal.
