The parotid gland, the largest of the salivary glands, is located near the ear. It produces saliva to aid in digestion and maintain oral health. Parotid gland disorders include infections, tumours, and inflammation. Diagnosis and treatment often require medical imaging and, in some cases, surgical intervention.
