Partington Syndrome
Partington syndrome is a rare genetic disorder primarily affecting males, characterised by intellectual disability, spastic paraplegia, and seizures. This X-linked condition is caused by mutations in the ARX gene. Diagnosing Partington syndrome involves genetic testing, and there is currently no cure, focusing instead on symptom management and supportive therapies.
