Giardiasis

Giardiasis is an intestinal infection caused by the Giardia lamblia parasite. It spreads through contaminated water or food and leads to symptoms such as diarrhoea, abdominal pain, and bloating. Giardiasis can affect anyone, but it's particularly common in areas with poor sanitation. Diagnosis involves stool tests, and treatment includes antiparasitic medications.
