QUALIFICATIONS: BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy MCSP SRP Dave qualified as chartered physiotherapist in 1999. As clinical director at Complete Physio, Dave works as an extended scope physiotherapist and freelance and University Lecturer. He is also Chairman of professional network and national clinical interest group Association for Chartered Physiotherapists with an interest in Orthopaedic Medicine and Injection Therapy (http://www.acpomit.co.uk/). Dave has vast experience in musculoskeletal treatments having worked in wide spectrum of settings from acute injury of sports teams and A&E , through to complex chronic pain conditions. Emerson has extensive experience of working in GP practices, gyms, A&E and in private practice with athletes (footballers, rugby players, crossFitters, cyclists, runners, weight lifters, martial artists), gymnasts and dancers. He now combines a extended scope physiotherapist NHS role which includes weekly diagnostic ultrasound and ultrasound-guided injection therapy clinics, a teaching role and private practice at Complete Physio, where he specialises in knee and shoulder disorders, including ACL and knee ligament reconstruction management and shoulder rotator cuff rehabilitation. Emerson is one of the small group of advanced Physiotherapists able to offer diagnostic ultrasound assessments and use his extensive clinical experience to offer a full diagnosis, management options and treatment plan. QUALIFICATIONS: Chartered Physiotherapist Michael has gained a vast about of experience in assessing and managing a wide variety of musculo-skeletal conditions whilst working at large teaching hospitals in Essex and London. He has fulfilled roles in the private sector working extensively with patients suffering from neuro musculoskeletal conditions including sporting injuries, both traumatic and overuse, work-related disorders, problems related to inactivity, and chronic pain. Michael initially qualified as a Sport and Exercise Scientist and after publishing researching the Journal of Sport Science he subsequently qualified as a Physiotherapist. These two qualifications have complemented each other in his treatment of a wide range of patients from the sedentary to the high level athlete. He has previously worked as a lead squash & table tennis physiotherapist at the Common Wealth Games, Glasgow, 2014, and has also worked separately in competitive squash, martial arts, running, cycling and rugby. He uses a variety of manual treatment techniques including joint manipulation, soft tissue therapy, K-Taping, exercise and acupuncture dry needling to get his clients out of pain and back to full function. He currently splits his time between Complete Physio and Complete Pilates where he combines his hands on treatment with well-structured and functional rehabilitation following an injury or operation.

Mike is a Specialist Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist that graduated from the University of Nottingham. After specialising within the NHS he worked for a Professional Rugby club honing his hands on skills and analytical ability before going on to manage a physiotherapy department in a top north London private hospital dealing with post-operative rehab and sporting injuries. He specialises in a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions with a particular interest in sporting injuries with a focus on knee and shoulder pathologies. His work with both elite and part time sportsman as well as working with and playing in local rugby teams has developed a distinct focus on strength training and load management. QUALIFICATIONS: Chartered Physiotherapist, HCPC & CSP Registered, MSc Physiotherapy Matt completed a BSc in Human Biology before progressing onto a MSc Physiotherapy degree at the University of Birmingham and a PGCert Musculoskeletal Ultrasound degree at Brunel University. The completion of these three degrees led to a strong interest in musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy. Matt has worked extensively within a large NHS trust, overseas in New Zealand and most recently managing the physiotherapy department of a private North London hospital, focusing on orthopaedic and musculoskeletal injuries. This has allowed Matt to work extensively with patients suffering from a mix of acute and chronic injury, chronic pain and also those requiring post orthopaedic rehabilitation. He has a particular special interest in the rehabilitation and return to sport of patients post ACL reconstruction as well as knee pain and shoulder pathologies. Matt has completed university-based training in diagnostic ultrasound for musculoskeletal conditions. This allows Matt to incorporate diagnostic ultrasound into his initial assessments and offer a comprehensive diagnosis and management plan for a number of different upper and lower limb injuries. To achieve best outcomes with his patients, Matt prefers a holistic, individual approach to treatment using multiple methods, with a particular focus on education, exercise-based rehabilitation and manual therapy. He also liaises closely with orthopaedic surgeons, sports medicine doctors and other multidisciplinary members to provide the best care for his patients. QUALIFICATIONS: Chartered Physiotherapist, BPthy, Cred.MDT, MCSP, HCPC registered Growing up in New Zealand, Kelly led an active lifestyle, enjoying many outdoor and sporting activities. She represented NZ in sport aerobics, competed nationally with netball and surf lifesaving, and performed in cheerleading and aerial acrobatics displays. Along the way, Kelly obtained several injuries, and as a result, was introduced to physiotherapy from a young age. Through these experiences, she became fascinated with the human body, and knew then, that a career in health science was for her. Kelly went on to study at the University of Otago, graduating in 2015 with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy. She has since been working as a musculoskeletal physiotherapist in the private practice sectors in Wellington, New Zealand, and London. Kelly has experience working with clients of all population groups but has a particular interest in pre and postnatal care, low back and neck pain, radicular symptoms, hip, knee and ankle injuries, and post-operative management. Kelly takes a holistic, whole body approach to treatment, always seeking to address the root cause of the condition. She is passionate about helping her clients achieve their goals and reach their full potential. Jonathan graduated from his Master’s degree in physiotherapy in 2012. His passion for physiotherapy stems from a successful sporting career in field hockey where he competed to international level. Regular training and many injuries highlighted the need for specific tailored rehabilitation and injury management. Through both his Undergraduate and Masters qualifications, Jonathan has gained a background in patient screening to reduce injury risk in professional sport, return to play rehabilitation and the management of low back pain. Career highlights include working with Premier League Football and Rugby clubs whilst also helping Olympic athletes achieve their dreams of competing at London 2012. Marc moved from Ireland to study Physiotherapy at the University of East London, where he achieved a First-Class Honours degree. Since graduating, Marc has gained a wealth of experience in the NHS, private practice and professional sport. His NHS experience, at a large East London Trust includes rehabilitation, orthopaedics, sports and musculoskeletal medicine. Since leaving the NHS, Marc has primarily worked in elite sport, working as a Physiotherapist at Leyton Orient FC, Charlton Athletic FC and West Ham United FC. His time in football has given him a wealth of experience in treating and rehabilitating lower-limb injuries to the highest level. He works closely with the leading surgeons in London to provide his clients an elite service, the same service provided to professional athletes. Outside of football, Marc has experience in athletics, working at the IAAF World Athletics Championships and the London Marathon. This mix of experience has allowed Marc to treat a wide range of sports injuries and patients of all ages, including paediatric/adolescent’s (years 8 and above). Marc is currently studying for an MSc in Sports and Exercise Medicine at Queen Mary, University of London. He has a special interest in hip and groin injuries and as part of his studies, is conducting research on hip and groin injuries in professional football. He has also completed a diploma in sports massage. Outside of work, Marc enjoys keeping fit. Back in Ireland, he played Gaelic Football at U18 and U21 level for his county, Mayo. With a special interest in sport, he worked at FC Porto youth football academy for four years before moving up to the professional level. Alongside working with professional athletes, Pedro continued to provide care to the general population and amateur athletes. He feels that the knowledge, professionalism, and care given to professional athletes should be available to all. With this in mind, Pedro has extended his expertise to the private practice sector. Pedro has undertaken post graduate training in manual therapy, sports physiotherapy, and numerous strength and conditioning courses. He treats patients with both acute and chronic injuries and believes that injury is an opportunity to change for the better in the long-term, and he promotes this in his practice. Pedro believes in an active and patient-empowering approach, focusing on the root cause of the problem to achieve the best short- and long-term outcomes. Kessie has a special interest in lower limb rehabilitation and running injuries. In addition, she has published research on the subject of joint hypermobility in elite sport. Kessie joins Complete Physio from Nuffield Health, where she was managing a busy physiotherapy clinic alongside her role as Regional Clinical Lead Physiotherapist. QUALIFICATIONS: BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy, CSP HCPC & APCP registered Laura is a specialist paediatric physiotherapist with a specialist interest is in early years (0-4yrs). Laura has over 8 years’ experience working as a specialist paediatric physiotherapist and has developed a breadth of knowledge and experience in treating children of all ages across acute and community settings. Her experience expands across many areas, including acute neurorehabilitation, respiratory, neurodisability, special schools, orthopaedics and developmental delay. She also has experience with neuromuscular conditions, previously working as the specialist neuromuscular physiotherapist for Southeast Wales. She has completed courses in Bobath and Maes therapy, as well as the Elaine Owen gait and orthotics assessment course, which have been invaluable to providing recognised and evidence-based assessments and treatments within her practice. Laura is passionate about building a good rapport with her patients which enables her to complete effective assessments and treatments whilst ensuring an enjoyable experience for the child/baby.
