Dr Dimitri J Hadjiminas

Mr. Dimitri Hadjiminas is a specialist breast, thyroid and parathyroid surgeon. He is currently Consultant Breast Surgeon and Honorary Senior Lecturer at Imperial College, London. Mr Hadjiminas runs a rapid (one-stop) diagnostic service for breast problems, as part of a multi-disciplinary team for the treatment of breast cancer. His special interests include surgery for breast cancer, breast reconstruction including partial reconstruction using LD or LICAP/AICAP flaps, other oncoplastic techniques, sentinel node biopsy, augmentations and reductions, thyroid and parathyroid surgery. He performs minimally invasive parathyroid surgery after localisation of an adenoma if necessary under local anaesthesia.

Mr Daniel Leff

Mr Daniel Leff is a Consultant in Oncoplastic Breast Surgery and a Reader in Breast Surgery, based at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust - Charing Cross and St Mary's Hospitals. He also sees patients privately, including at The Harley Street Clinic. Mr Leff undertook his undergraduate training at Imperial School of Medicine (St Mary's) and qualified in 2000. He then trained in oncoplastic breast surgery at a number of centres of excellence, including the breast unit at Imperial College and the Royal Marsden Hospital. He completed advanced training as a National Oncoplastic Fellow (one of only nine posts competitively awarded in the UK) at Broomfield Hospital and the St Andrew's Centre for Plastic Surgery in Chelmsford, Essex. He holds a Master of Surgery degree in oncoplastic breast surgery and graduated with a first-class distinction. In 2016, he was awarded the Isaac Gukas Medal for outstanding achievement in breast surgery. He also won the British Association of Surgery Ronald Raven Travelling Award to visit and learn from colleagues at the MD Anderson Cancer Center in the US. Mr Leff's main research interest relates to the development of margin assessment technologies to reduce rates of re-operative breast surgery.

Mr Kelvin Chong

Mr Chong is a skilled and experienced oncoplastic breast surgeon in North London. His NHS base hospitals include St Albans City Hospital and Watford General Hospital. His practice includes a team consisting of the most experienced specialist oncologist, radiologist and pathologist in North London. For patients with breast symptoms i.e. breast lumps, an early appointment at his Rapid Diagnosis Clinic appointment can be arranged. His clinic is equipped with same-day 3D mammogram, ultrasound and biopsy facilities and patients will be provided with a breast diagnosis by the end of the clinic appointment. For newly-diagnosed breast cancer patients, Mr Chong can provide a prompt date for surgery, if required. He works closely with his multidisciplinary team to provide the most up-to-date treatment. Treatment plan is routinely tailored according to the needs and preferences of his patients. His patients are also well supported by an excellent team of dedicated breast care nurses. Mr Chong practices oncoplastic breast surgery. This is a surgical approach which combines both breast cancer surgery with plastics and reconstructive techniques to optimize the cosmetic effects of breast cancer surgery. His skillsets includes implant-based breast reconstructions, breast reductions for symmetry and lipomodelling (fat grafting) to correct lumpectomy defects. He works closely with plastic surgeons to provide autologous DIEP reconstructions for patients.
