Mr Simon Lambert

Mr Simon Lambert is a highly experienced Consultant Surgeon with specialist expertise in surgery of the shoulder and elbow, as well as trauma surgery. Mr Lambert is based in London at University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children. He also works privately for HCA Healthcare UK. His specialist areas of interest include shoulder replacement, shoulder revision replacement, joint replacement, elbow replacement, elbow revision replacement, clavicle and humerus fractures and rotator cuff disease. In 1984 Mr Lambert graduated with a medical degree from Charing Cross Medical School. He then embarked upon extensive orthopaedics training in London as part of a rotational programme, and also completed a fellowship in Switzerland. In 1996, he was appointed consultant at the University Hospital of Southampton and, in 1998, was honoured by the European Society for Surgery of the Shoulder and Elbow with a highly esteemed North American Travelling Fellowship. Mr Lambert also has a passion for research in a number of orthopaedic areas including elbow replacement, as well as the anatomy of the musculocutaneous nerve and has published over 100 publications in leading medical journals. He also devotes his time outside of clinical practice to teaching and training, offering courses to GPs focused in examination of the shoulder and elbow and advice on when and when not to refer patients. He has also received several awards throughout his career, including the Wessex Regional Training Programme's Trainer of the Year 2000–2001.

Mr Carlos Cobiella

Mr Carlos Cobiella is a distinguished Consultant Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgeon affiliated with University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. He graduated from Medical School at the Universidad Autonoma in Madrid, Spain and completed his initial surgical training in London. Following this, he pursued specialised training in Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital. He further honed his expertise in Shoulder and Elbow Surgery through focused training at the Shoulder and Elbow Unit and the Peripheral Nerve Injury Unit at the same institution. His career path led him to the Whittington Hospital in 2003, where he initiated and established the Shoulder and Elbow service. Two years later, he transitioned to UCLH (University College London Hospitals) where he served as a leader of a dedicated team of Shoulder and Hand surgeons. Mr Cobiella is the visionary behind The Shoulder Practice and spearheads the Upper Limb section at the ISEH (Institute of Sport, Exercise and Health), one of the globally recognized research centres endorsed by the International Olympic Committee. He notably contributed to the medical team during the London 2012 Olympics and holds membership in the NFL Physician Society.

Mr Rob Pollock

Mr Rob Pollock is a consultant orthopaedic surgeon at The Princess Grace Hospital and is Chair of the HCA UK Sarcoma Board. He was elected president of the British Orthopaedic Oncology Society in June 2023. Mr Rob Pollock specialises in the management of hip and knee conditions as well as bone and soft tissue tumours throughout the body. He was the Clinical Director of the Joint Reconstruction and Sarcoma Units from 2017-2021 at The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital and has been a consultamt there since 2004. His private practice is run at The Princess Grace and The Wellington Hospitals operated by HCA Healthcare UK. Mr Pollock has extensive experience in first time and revision hip and knee replacements and limb salvage surgery for musculo-skeletal tumours.

Mr Jae Rhee

Mr Rhee is a highly experienced Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon who specializes in treating and managing shoulder and upper limb disorders. He has extensive knowledge in techniques such as minimally invasive 'key-hole' Arthroscopic surgery, and he attends to private patients at the London Clinic, Nuffield Health Wolverhampton Hospital, and 30 Devonshire Street. Mr Rhee earned his primary medical qualification at the Royal Free University College London School of Medicine and completed his basic surgical training at University College Hospital. Subsequently, he undertook orthopaedic training on the Stoke & Oswestry training programme, allowing him to gain expertise in shoulder and elbow surgery techniques. Mr Dimitrios Karadaglis

Mr Karadaglis is a highly accomplished orthopedic surgeon who specialises in treating degenerative and post-traumatic upper limb conditions. Mr Neil Bradbury

Mr Neil Bradbury is a knee specialist like no other—an internationally-acclaimed consultant orthopaedic surgeon and part-time surfer, Neil trained in orthopaedic surgery at Nottingham's Queens Medical Centre – one of the biggest and best orthopaedic hospitals in the UK. In search of the ultimate wave, his training took him to Australia with Dr Leo Pinczewski and Dr Mervyn Cross, and later to the USA, where he worked alongside Dr Richard Steadman – three of the world's most eminent knee surgeons. Mr Reza Mobasheri

Mr Reza Mobasheri qualified from Guy & St Thomas' medical school in 1998. He completed his core surgical training in London and Surrey, before completing his orthopaedic training in South West London. Mr Mobasheri's specialist interest is spinal surgery and he has completed a fellowship in complex spinal surgery at the internationally renowned Krembil neuroscience centre in Toronto, Canada. Mr Mobasheri was appointed Consultant at Imperial Healthcare NHS trust in 2012 where he now co-runs the spinal service and is part of the vertebral compression fracture service. Mr Mobasheri provides assessment and spine care for a wide range of spinal conditions and can provide both surgical and non-surgical treatment for patients with back and neck pain. With discussion with his patients he carefully selects which will benefit from surgery, operating on the neck or lower back.

Mr Michael Elvey

Mr Elvey is a consultant Hand & Orthopaedic surgeon. He graduated from the Royal Free and University College London Medical School in 2007 with MBBS and a BSc Hons in Medical Law. After completing speciality training on the University College London Hospital Programme he was awarded subspecialty Hand and Wrist fellowships at the World-renowned Wrightington Upper limb Unit and Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. In 2019 he was awarded the Gold Medal for the highest performance in the British Postgraduate Hand Diploma examination. Mr Elvey holds an NHS consultant post at University College London Hospital NHS Foundation Trust where he supervises trainees in his role of treating all aspects of Hand and Wrist surgery in both adults and children. He publishes regularly in peer-reviewed journals, has received numerous research prizes, and presents regularly at national and international scientific meetings. He has contributed to major textbooks, is a reviewer for the top hand and wrist publications and maintains an active interest in medical law.

Mr Dimpu Bhagawati

Mr Bhagawati is an experienced Orthopaedic Spinal Surgeon. He has trained in some of the elite institutions such as the University of Oxford University College London, Oxford University Hospital, Imperial Healthcare and the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital. During his training he completed 2 complex spinal fellowships dealing with some of the most complex conditions in the whole of spinal surgery. He sees his NHS patients at Bedfordshire Hospitals Foundation Trust where he works as Clinical Lead for Spinal Services. There he organises spinal services of a population in excess of 700 000. Prior to taking up his current post he worked as a Consultant Spinal Surgeon at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in London. There he dealt with complex spinal problems in both Adults and Children. Mr Henry Colaco

Mr Henry Colaço is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon who specialises in reconstructive and sports shoulder and elbow surgery and complex upper limb trauma including hand and wrist injuries. He is the Clinical Lead for Upper Limb Surgery at Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, and a founder member of the Shoulder Practice and The London Shoulder Meeting. He firmly believes in a patient-centred approach to treatment and collection of functional outcome data in order to tailor operative and non-operative techniques to the individual. When surgery is required, he uses novel techniques including awake shoulder surgery, 3D templating for joint replacement surgery, and minimally invasive techniques where possible to achieve optimal results and faster rehabilitation. Mr Jerome Davidson

Mr Davidson is the Lead of the Sickle Hip Service at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospitals. This is a supra-regional service managing a very complex patient group. He provides a paediatric and adolescent hip replacement service at Evelina Children’s hospital (part of GSTT). In addition, Jerome is the Regional Director for London (South) at the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
