Dr Syed E. Junaid

MBBS BSc (Hons) AICSM FRCR Musculoskeletal, Sports & General Dr. Junaid is a specialist radiologist with expertise in all aspects of General, Musculoskeletal, and Sports imaging diagnosis (Ultrasound, CT, MRI, X-ray & Nuclear medicine) and intervention (injections, biopsies, ablations). Dr. Junaid completed his medical training at Imperial College London with Distinctions, followed by radiology training in South Wales where he specialized in Musculoskeletal and Sports imaging. Following this, he completed a further specialist one-year fellowship at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in London, UK’s largest tertiary musculoskeletal and sarcoma referral center. He has won multiple international awards for his work in Radiology. He has particular expertise in complex ultrasound and CT-guided procedures.

Mr Angus Maclean

Mr. Maclean is employed as a full-time hand and wrist consultant at Royal Glamorgan Hospital. After qualifying from the University of Southampton Medical School in 2005 he undertook Foundation training in Winchester, before working in trauma at Royal Perth Hospital, Australia for a year. He then returned to the UK to complete Core Surgical Training in Bristol, where he also completed an MD research degree at the University of Bristol investigating the safety of orthopaedic implants. He then moved to complete his higher surgical training in trauma and orthopaedics in Wales, specialising in hand and wrist surgery. He further undertook a traveling hand surgery fellowship to the University Hospital of Zurich and spent a year of specialist hand surgical training at the John Radcliffe Hospital and Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre in Oxford. He was awarded the European Hand Diploma in 2018.

Mr Rhys Thomas

Mr Rhys Thomas is a top Consultant General and Upper Gastrointestinal Surgeon with extensive expertise in general, upper GI, hernia and laparoscopic surgery. Based at Croydon University Hospital for the NHS, and privately at London Bridge Hospital, Mr Thomas specialises in treating all kinds of hernias and acute management of gallstones. Expressing a keen interest in abdominal wall hernia surgery, Mr Thomas has also established a multidisciplinary team at Croydon University Hospital for the management of complex hernias. Mr Thomas gained his medical qualification in 2003, from Imperial College School of Medicine, after which he embarked up extensive training. His previous training and fellowship posts include Senior House Officer at Royal Surrey County Hospital, Guildford (2005-2007), Specialist Registrar in Upper GI and Bariatric Surgery as part of the South West Thames training rotation (2007-2015) and Clinical Fellow in Hepatopancreaticobiliary Surgery at Royal Surrey Hospital, Guildford (2009-2011).
