Musculoskeletal and Pain Medicine Consultant Dr Tewani has had rich and varied experience in Anaesthetics over the last 29 years. She has a special interest in Interventional Pain Medicine and offers a comprehensive list of injection treatments for chronic and acute pain in all areas of the body. Dr Tewani has done comprehensive study of management of chronic pain as a clinical research Fellow and runs the ‘Examination skills for the Pain Specialist’ course for the Faculty of Pain Medicine. FRCS Ed (Tr & Orth) MCh (Orth)D (Orth) CAOS MRCS MBBS Mr Sarang Sapare is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with a specialist interest in back pain in adults and children. He treats spinal problems and orthopaedic injuries of the spine and of the peripheral joints. He is an expert in image guided injections to the spine and other joints and has worked extensively as a Consultant Orthopaedic surgeon and Trauma Surgeon over the last 25 years.

Dr Steve Whatmough

MBBS MRCGP MRCP MSc Dr Steven Whatmough has had an interest in musculoskeletal medicine for many years.Dr Whatmough completed his advanced MSK intervention fellowship at the Blackberry clinic during his specialist training in Sport & Exercise Medicine, and now works as a consultant at the Milton Keynes and Birmingham sites. He is a qualified GP and also completed his Masters at University College London (UCL) in Sport and Exercise medicine. He offers a variety of injection treatments for painful musculoskeletal conditions.

Pain Management Consultant

Dr Sri Krishna

Dr Krishna offers interventional treatment for pain and performs all procedures done in secondary care setting including Fluoroscopy and Ultrasound Guided procedures Dr Krishna is currently working as a Consultant in Anesthetics and Pain Management in Heart of England NHS Foundation Trust which involves Pain Sessions including New Patient Clinics and Follow up clinics both in Primary care and secondary care setting. As a Consultant in Pain Management he has been involved not only with clinical management of patients but also in the training of both Anesthetic trainees and Pain Fellows.

MBBS MD MSc FRCA FFPMRCA Dr Shyam Balasubramanian has clinical experience in anaesthesia and pain medicine from 3 different healthcare systems. He provides perioperative care for patients undergoing major trauma surgeries in his role in hospitals. At Blackberry Clinic he runs face to face clinics, video-consultations and treatment sessions. He has a special interest in spinal pain, musculoskeletal pain, neuropathic pain, chronic widespread pain and persistent post-traumatic / post-surgical pain. Dr Udaya Chakka

MBBS MD FCAI EDRA FFPMRCA Dr Udaya Chakka is a qualified anaesthetist and highly experienced in the management of painful musculoskeletal and neuropathic conditions. He has undergone Advanced Pain training and has completed a Fellowship in Neuromodulation and Cancer Pain in Leeds. Dr Chakka can offer pain relieving injections for neck and back pain as well as joint and soft tissue injections. He has a wide range of clinical interests including whiplash injury, occipital neuralgia and chronic widespread pain.

Dr Vinay Ketkar

MBChB MRCGP DRCOG DipRheum MSOM Dip SEM MFSEM Dr Ketkar has many years of experience as a musculoskeletal doctor in the NHS and the private sector. He works at Blackberry Clinic Milton Keynes, Blackberry Clinic Birmingham and at the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital in Birmingham and for East Lancashire Hospitals. Dr Ketkar has experience working with recreational and elite athletes and the general public suffering with pain from a musculoskeletal origin. He has a special interest in spinal rehabilitation and fluoroscopic x-ray and ultrasound guided injection treatments including prolotherapy.

Centre Manager

Jackie Harrison

Blackberry Clinic Lichfield and Birmingham Jackie is the Centre Manager for Blackberry Clinic Lichfield and Blackberry Clinic Birmingham. Jackie manages reception and administration for these clinics. She brings all her experience from working as a Medical Receptionist in the NHS to her role as dual Centre Manager to ensure the smooth running of the clinics for the doctors, practitioners and patients.

Ben Molloy

Ben is Area Manager of all our Clinics in the West of the UK. He has been with Blackberry Clinic for a number of years and has had roles as a Health Advisor, Health Care Assistant and Centre Manager in Blackberry Clinic Group.
