Dr Daud Mohamed

He studied medicine at the Policlinic University Federico II, Naples, in 1993. After completing his Doctor in Medicine and Surgery qualification in 1998, Dr Mohamed completed his residency in infectious diseases, which gives him GMC registration as a specialist in this field in 2003. After moving to the UK in 2005, Dr Mohamed worked as a Senior House Officer in Orthopaedics in different NHS hospitals in 2009. He then worked as a Resident Medical Officer at the Orthopaedic and Spine Specialist Hospital in Peterborough for 5 years.

Environmental Naturopath

Jean Monro

With over 40 years of experience in environmental and nutritional medicine, Jean is our environmental naturopath within our clinical team having retired from the practice of medicine in 2021. As an environmental naturopath, she works to discern the causes of illness, recommends nutraceuticals to optimise health and advises on how to reduce exposures through lifestyle choices, diet and nutrition.

Professor Basant Puri

Professor Basant Puri is a part-time consultant and medical researcher at Breakspear Medical, Hammersmith Hospital and Imperial College London. He has researched a variety of conditions, including depression, chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS), attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and Huntington’s chorea, using state-of-the-art electrophysiological, brain scanning and biochemical techniques. Along with carrying out medical studies and consulting on a part-time basis, he is supervising research into Lyme disease.

Dr Eberhard Schwarz

Dr Eberhard Schwarz has a keen interest in allergy and environmental medicine and works part-time at Breakspear Medical. Dr Schwarz retired from his position as Medical Director of Fachkliniken Nordfriesland, a large psychiatric hospital in Northern Germany. Over 20 years ago, Dr Schwarz introduced allergy and environmental medical treatments for his psychiatric patients, utilising low-dose immunotherapy vaccines manufactured by Breakspear Medical. He is fluent in English and German.

Dr Galina (Gkalina) Xanthopoulou

She studied medicine at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece 2001–08 and received her General Practitioner certification in Spain, which is obtained by passing a National Selection Exam and 4 years training in one Hospital and one Primary Healthcare Centre. In addition to her medical qualifications, she is completing her Masters in Emergencies and Catastrophes and continues to study, taking courses in natural therapies, nutrition, cardiovascular disease, minor surgery and health coaching. She has volunteered working as a doctor in indigenous communities in Mexico and Ecuador.

Gabrielle Hyland

A Naturopath/Registered Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, Gabrielle uses a functional medicine approach to chronic illness; identifying and addressing the root cause of disease which may be the result of diet and lifestyle imbalances and environmental insults. Gabrielle has undertaken extensive training at the Kharrizian Institute completing clinically focused courses in neuroinflammation, gastrointestinal disorders, autoimmunity, Hashimoto’s, diabetes & dysglycemia, cognitive decline, chronic fatigue & pain, cardiovascular & neurovascular issues, childhood development disorders, mood & anxiety disorders and longevity & wellness optimisation. Gabrielle has also completed advance practitioner courses in mould/mycotoxins with Dr Crista and Drs Christensen and Clayton.
