Doctor Imogen Shaw

Imogen qualified at Cambridge University and Westminster Medical school and has been a GP for 25 years, with particular focus on women’s health and the menopause. Following a sabbatical in gynaecology, she qualified with a post graduate diploma in 2008. She is a co-author of the National Institute for Clinical Excellence guidelines for menopause, and has written a book for GPs on managing the menopause.|

Dr. Rob Howlett

Rob qualified at Cambridge University school of clinical medicine and has been a GP for 25 years, with particular focus on cardiology. He had further postgraduate training at Papworth and Addenbrookes Hospital followed by a 6-month sabbatical in Canada. He works in four hospital and community-based cardiology clinics. He has special interests in men's health, including prostate and testosterone. He is Director of Cardiovascular GP, the national organisation promoting the management of cardiovascular disease in primary care and lectures nationally on cardiovascular disease.|

Dr. Yvonne Girgis-Hanna

Yvonne qualified at Cambridge University school of clinical medicine in 1997. She has been working as a GP and GP trainer in a semi-rural practice for the last 10 years. Previous to this she spent some time in specialist training in General and Renal medicine at Guy's Hospital. Her interests are in chronic disease management of patients with diabetes, hypertension and chronic kidney disease and particularly the care of complex elderly patients with co-morbidities and frailty.|

Dr. Claire Gillvray

Claire qualified from Edinburgh University in 1999. She initially trained in Psychiatry completing her Membership of the Royal College of Psychiatrists in 2004. She then went on to train as a GP and has worked as a NHS GP Partner and Trainer in both London and Bristol. She ran her own private practice in London.|

Dr. Emma McGrath

Emma qualified from the University of Cambridge in 2004 with a Distinction inSurgery. Post-qualification, she undertook a hospital-based training programme in Paediatrics at Addenbrooke’s Hospital and the West Suffolk Hospital, followed by a GP Training Scheme in Cambridge. Over the course of her GP training, she completed hospital placements in general medicine/care of the elderly, emergency medicine, psychiatry and obstetrics/gynaecology, and was awarded Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners in 2011.|

Dr. Chris Schramm

Chris qualified in Medicine at the University of Tasmania in 1993, graduating with the Surgery Prize. He then emigrated from Australia to Cambridge and completed his GP training in Cambridge, gaining Membership of the Royal College of GPs in 1998. His career has all been based in and around Cambridge, including 18 years as a partner at Shelford Medical Practice.|

Dr. Mari Flowerdew

Mari qualified from the University of Oxford Clinical School in 2000. Her career focus has been the provision of high quality family medicine as a Partner in a local South Cambridgeshire Practice, with a particular interest in women’s health, contraceptive procedures (coils and implants) and paediatrics. She has 18 years of experience of all aspects of General Practice and health promotion.|

Dr. Noshad Khan

Noshad qualified from the University of Peshawar in 2001. Post-qualification, he worked in general medicine/surgery/orthopaedics and moved to the UK in 2004. He completed his Foundation training in North Thames Foundation School in London and then undertook a training programme in Psychiatry in Northeast of England followed by a GP Training Scheme in Harlow.|

Dr David Whooley

David qualified in Medicine in Cork City, Ireland in 1990. He moved to the UK 5 years later and was initially involved in Research and Teaching. He then worked as a GP in London, Cambridgeshire and West Essex.|

Dr Fiona Macleod

Fiona qualified in medicine from the Royal London Hospital in 1995. Her initial training was in adult medicine and elderly care in North London. She went on to train as a GP in London, also doing jobs in paediatrics and obstetrics and gynaecology, before moving to North Essex where she has been working in a semi-rural practice for over 16 years.
