She is a general practitioner with over 20 years’ experience. Prior to founding Glasgow Medical Rooms a private general practice, Dr. O’Neill held a partnership in a busy NHS general practice in Govanhill where she provided comprehensive primary health care. She became one of the first female GP trainers in the West of Scotland training many young doctors. She also tutored 3rd and 5th-year medical students for nearly 20 years. During her 20 years in the partnership, Dr. Sheila O’Neill organised specialised clinics in addition to general practice appointments, including a Cryotherapy Clinic, Drug Clinic and Healthy Heart Clinic. As well as having dealt with NHS patients on a daily basis, Dr. O’Neill also has vast experience of dealing with medical assessments for insurance purposes, HGV medicals, reports for insurance companies, Visa medicals and more. I work primarily within a CBT framework but my extensive training and expertise gives me the flexibility to incorporate other therapeutic techniques to suit your needs. Dr O’Donoghue is a GP and menopause specialist who has worked in the NHS for over 25 years. She graduated form Queens University Belfast in 1991 and worked in Belfast before moving to work in Australia. She returned to Glasgow to complete GP training and has been here ever since. She worked in the first dedicated menopause clinic in the UK, with Dr David Mackay Hart incorporating clinical work with menopause research. She has many years of experience in working in primary care menopause and sexual health. She has a holistic approach to management of the menopause and views it as a positive transition in a woman’s life and values an individual tailored and personal approach incorporating diet exercise and lifestyle as part of good management. Pharmacological and non pharmalogical alternatives are an important part of her ethos. She is a member of the British menopause society, the British medical association and a member of the faculty of reproductive and sexual health.

Mr Spencer is a Consultant Orthopaedic & Trauma Surgeon based at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow. He graduated from Aberdeen University Medical School in 2000 before moving to Glasgow and specialising in Orthopaedic & Trauma Surgery, being appointed as a Consultant Surgeon in 2011. Mr Spencer is highly experienced in providing an expert orthopaedic and trauma medicolegal opinion; both through reports and as an expert witness. Chris is our in house physiotherapist who specialises in MSK physiotherapy as well as occupational health assessment. He has over 6 years experience working in this field and takes a particular interest in back pain, neck pain and knee rehabilitation. Chris has worked in elite sport for 5 years now, at both club and international level in football and rugby. Chris has also worked with large organisations to provide physiotherapy for their employees for a variety of complaints from postural related pain to repetitive strain. Chris has vast experience in soft tissue massage also, through work in the sports environment. Chris enjoys keeping an active lifestyle, enjoying the gym after having to retire from rugby with his own injuries! He also has a love for dogs and has a golden Labrador – Watson. Having graduated from the University of Glasgow in 1999 Dr Rasul has worked as a psychiatrist in the West of Scotland for over 20 years, with fourteen years at consultant level. Dr Rasul is currently working as a consultant in NHS Forth Valley, having previously worked for 12 years in NHS Ayrshire and Arran. He is experienced in the assessment and management of common and severe mental health disorders; including psychosis, depression, anxiety, memory problems and dementia, as well as complex presentations of dementia. His consultant experience has been in the community, inpatient and outpatient settings. Dr Rasul was born and bred in the UK. He studied medicine at Glasgow University, graduating in 1999. He undertook his psychiatry training in the West of Scotland and has a special interest in medical education. Dr Rasul has been the postgraduate education course director for West of Scotland Psychiatry for the last 10 years, working closely with young training doctors in psychiatry, helping shape their educational development. Dr Rasul has been invited to chair and speak at national conferences on subjects including ECT, depression, occupational burnout and capacity issues.
