Mr Khalid Al-Dadah
Professional background Mr Khalid Al-Dadah is a Consultant Specialist Knee Surgeon dealing exclusively with the knee. He accepts referrals for a variety of complex pathologies and has a specialist interest in partial knee replacement surgery. Mr Al-Dadah graduated from the University of Sheffield School of Medicine. His surgical training was at the prestigious Imperial College London, on the Higher Specialist Training Programme, where he spent several years in London’s leading hospitals, from complex tertiary referral units to major trauma centres. Mr Al-Dadah has expertise in the full range of knee pathologies, from sports injuries – such as meniscal tears and ACL ruptures – to the complete repertoire of knee replacement surgery, including partial, total and revision knee replacements. Mr Al-Dadah has a dedicated focus on enhanced recovery and aims to carry out all procedures in a single sitting, and therefore enabling his patients to return to their normal function as quickly and as comfortably as possible. To achieve these results, Mr Al-Dadah uses up-to-date modern techniques and equipment, with the most tried and tested evidence-based procedures being the forefront of his practice. Having undertaken his higher fellowship training in the highly competitive, and world renowned, Oxford Knee Fellowship, he advanced in sports knee ligament reconstructions, cartilage regeneration techniques and meniscal injuries, with a focus on rehabilitating athletes back to their pre-injury level. Mr Al-Dadah spent a year in the designing centre of the Oxford Partial Knee Replacement, working with the team behind the most used, and most successful partial knee replacement implant in the UK National Joint Registry. Mr Nick Anim
Professional background Nick Anim is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist and Honorary Senior Lecturer at Kingston University London. He is also a Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists He had postgraduate training in obstetrics and gynaecology in the London North West Thames Deanery and worked at Chelsea & Westminster hospital, Queen Charlottes & Chelsea hospital and St. Mary’s Hospital. He undertook clinical research fellowship studying the causes and methods for predicting pre-eclampsia culminating with the award of a PhD by Imperial College London. Mr Anim has expertise in general and high risk obstetrics including medical complications of pregnancy, particularly hypertension disorders of pregnancy. He encourages normality of pregnancy care and delivery but he also has an open-minded approach to discussing other options of care. He sees women with a broad range of gynaecological disorders including menstrual disorders, polycystic ovaries, recurrent miscarriages, pelvic pain, fibroids and prolapse. He performs minimal access, abdominal and pelvic surgical procedures. He also offers well-woman gynaecological checks-up. He has an active research programme focusing on hypertensive disorders of pregnancy and other medical complications. Professional background Dr Farid Bazari is our consultant respiratory and internal physician with a wide practice covering all respiratory and internal medical problems. Dr Bazari’s early career included undergraduate medical training at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospitals. He had specialist respiratory training on the London rotation, including the Royal Brompton Hospital, a world-renowned centre for respiratory disease. Dr Bazari has been a full-time NHS consultant at Kingston Hospital NHS Foundation Trust for over 10 years, where he holds a number of leadership roles aimed at improving patient care and developing clinical services. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr Bazari is involved in several projects in improving patient experience and developing clinical services. Miss Rhiannon Bray
Professional background Miss Rhiannon Bray MBBS, Bsc (Hons), MRCOG, MD, is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with subspecialist training in Urogynaecology. Dr John Chinegwundoh
Professional background Dr. John Chinegwundoh is a Consultant Respiratory Physician at Kingston Private Health and has a strong interest in cough, COPD, asthma, interstitial lung disease and respiratory infection. Dr Chinegwundoh was born locally and grew up in South London. He went to Cambridge University, and graduated from Emmanuel College with a First Class Honours Degree in Medicine. Since becoming a doctor in 1994, he has rotated through various posts in his training and gained a wide body of experience. He worked in a number of prestigious hospitals including the Royal Brompton, Guy’s and St Thomas’, the Hammersmith, Royal Free and University College. He also won a competitive Medical Scholarship and spent three years on an International Fellowship at the world-renowned Columbia University in New York completing his Doctorate degree. Mr Davis qualified from St Bartholomew’s Hospital and completed his junior training, both in surgery and gynaecology, in Southampton and London. Dr Nader Elgharably
Professional background Dr Nader Elgharably is our Consultant Paediatrician and Neonatologist in the Neonatal Level 2 Unit. He looks after all acute/non-acute medical problems for children as well as all critical pre-term deliveries – where he regularly carries out scans for the heart and brain. Dr Elgharably can perform Cranial USS for newborn babies up to six months of age also. He also offers neonatal/paediatric oriented echo for murmurs. Dr Elgharably has a close link with a tertiary cardiology centre in the case where a second opinion or further cardiac physiology tests are needed. Dr Elgharably has developed a special interest in paediatric cardiology and works as an Honorary Consultant at the Cardiology Department at Royal Brompton Hospital & St Thomas & Guy’s Hospital. Dr Elgharably received his Master’s Degree in Paediatrics Endocrinology of the Kidney from Cairo University, Egypt and he is also a member of the European Society of Cardiology (ESC). Mr Mostafa Elgohary
Professional background Mr Mostafa Elgohary is a consultant Vitreoretinal Surgeon. He trained as a specialist registrar in Ophthalmology on the North London rotation then as a fellow in Vitreoretinal surgery at Moorfields Eye Hospital, London. He also trained in Paediatric Ophthalmology at the Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto, Canada. Mr Elgohary has expertise in the treatment of retinal disorders, including retinal detachment, macular holes, epiretinal membranes, age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, vitreous haemorrhage as well as complications of eye injuries. He also has expertise in the management of complicated cataract cases, including after eye trauma and those with unstable or displaced lens or lens implants. Mr Elgohary has a postgraduate MD degree from University College London (UCL) and has published several peer-reviewed publications. His research interest encompasses the outcome of surgical intervention for retinal detachment, macular hole and diabetic complications surgery. He has presented his research at many of the national and international meetings. Mr Elgohary is an honorary lecturer at the Institute of Ophthalmology and UCL. Mr Fawcett graduated from Charing Cross and Westminster Medical School in 1989. Following his House Officer year he completed a Junior Surgical Trainee rotation in North West Thames, obtaining his Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 1993. Dr Markus Gess
Professional background Dr Markus Gess is the lead clinician for Gastroentorology and Endoscopy Services at Kingston NHS Trust Hospital. He studied medicine at Ludwig-Maximilian University in Munich, Germany, qualifying in 1999. He undertook his postgraduate clinical training in gastroenterology, hepatology and general medicine in London and also worked in academic hepatitis C research for three years. Dr Gess consolidated his specialist interest in liver disease working at King’s College Liver Unit. Dr Gess provides expertise in all aspects of gastroenterology and liver disease and he is an accomplished endoscopist. His clinical practice includes gastroenterology and hepatology clinics and he carries out weekly diagnostic and interventional upper and lower gastrointestinal endoscopy lists. Mr Ioannis Gerogiannis
Professional background Mr Ioannis Gerogiannis is a Consultant General and Emergency Surgeon, with a special interest in Laparoscopic Upper Gastrointestinal (GI) and Bariatric surgery. He is also an Honorary Consultant Surgeon at Oxford University Hospitals and St George’s University Hospital. Mr Gerogiannis became an Accredited JAG Upper GI Endoscopist in 2017. Mr Gerogiannis graduated from the Medical School of University of Crete, Greece, where he trained in Surgical Intensive and Critical Care, before serving the Hellenic Army as a military doctor. Doctor Professional background Dr Goel graduated in 2004 from Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’ Medical Schools, London. After gaining comprehensive medical experience working in London and the South East, he entered Gastroenterology and General Medicine specialist training in 2008. His clinical interests include therapeutic endoscopy (including treatment for bowel polyps and gastrointestinal bleeding), gastroscopy, colonoscopy, wireless video capsule endoscopy, orofacialgranulomatosis, gastro-oesophageal acid reflux, dyspepsia (indigestion), constipation, diarrhoea, nutrition and orofacial granulomatosis and inflammatory bowel disease (Crohn’s disease and Ulcerative colitis). Mr Petr Holy
Professional background Mr Holy is one of our Consultant Urologists, specialising in paediatric urology and male lower urinary tract symptoms. Mr Holy trained in General Urology in Prague and then completed a two-year European Society Paediatric Urology certified training in Paediatric Urology. His areas of expertise include prostate cancer diagnosis with MR fusion targeted Prostate Biopsy Transperineally. He can also advise on proton treatment for prostate cancer and facilitate treatment in the Prague Proton Therapy Centre. Dr Tuan Ismail
Professional background Dr Ismail is a Consultant Nephrologist and a Consultant in Internal Medicine. He is the Kidney Disease Lead at Kingston NHS Hospital Trust and has specialist interests in both acute kidney disease and chronic kidney disease. Dr Ismail’s speciality training was predominantly carried out in South London Teaching Hospitals. After completing his training at King’s College, he joined us as a consultant in 2014. Aside from his clinical duties Dr Ismail is extensively involved in teaching and improving junior doctor’s services with a commitment to improving the quality of care and patients experience across heath services. This includes kidney diseases related to infections, haematuria, proteinuria, immunological conditions of all types and cardiovascular disease. Within cardiovascular disease patients, he has a special focus on complex hypertension patients and cardio–renal syndrome patients.

Professional background Mr Jarrett is a consultant laparoscopic (keyhole) general and colorectal surgeon with a special interest in hernia and haemorrhoid surgery, as well as faecal incontinence and pelvic floor problems. Mr Jarrett trained at both Cambridge and Oxford University Medical Schools. He undertook SHO training in Bristol and Bath and then returned to the Oxford rotation for registrar jobs. He undertook research at St. Mark’s Hospital, London which studied the use of innovative techniques to manage faecal incontinence and especially Sacral Nerve Stimulation upon which he published widely and helped to write the NICE guidelines. He was awarded an MD at Oxford for this work and also the Arris and Gale Lectureship by the Royal College of Surgeons. Professional background Mr Jayesh Khistria MSc. BMedSci (Hons), is a Consultant Orthoptist, and graduated from the University of Sheffield. He holds a master’s in clinical ophthalmology, from University College London and started his early orthoptic career at the Oxford Eye Hospital before joining Moorfields, working alongside some of the UK’s top squint surgeons. Mr Khistria is the first orthoptist in the country to be working in an advanced neuro-ophthalmology role and an honorary lecturer at UCL for new undergraduate orthoptists. Professional background Mr Myutan Kulendran is a Consultant General Surgeon, with a special focus on bariatric surgery. As a high-volume bariatric surgeon, he is experienced in performing all minimally invasive bariatric operations including sleeve gastrectomy and gastric bypass. He routinely performs revisional surgery for weight regain and complications following bariatric surgery for both UK and international patients. Professional background Mr Wisam Muen is a Consultant Ophthalmologist specialising in cataract and lens surgery. Mr Muen qualified from Manchester University in 1997 and completed an extensive training scheme in General Surgical training before further specialising in Ophthalmology. He began his medical career in London, qualifying from Guy’s and St Thomas’s Hospitals Medical and Dental Schools. After finishing his training, Mr Patel went overseas to Brisbane to work under the guidance of Professor Bill Coman and Assoc/Prof Ben Panizza to perform Head and Neck Skull base surgery. Whilst in Australia, he volunteered for the Deadly Ears Foundation, travelling to rural areas performing operations for children living in deprived Aboriginal communities. Mr Patel returned to the UK for a further skull base and cochlear implant fellowship and locum consultant position in Addenbrooke’s Hospital Medical School, Cambridge. Dr Simon Pearse
Professional background Dr Simon Pearse is a Consultant Cardiologist at Kingston Private Health. His specialist interest is in heart failure and pacing, including ICD and CRT devices, but he has broad experience of general cardiology and medicine and aims to offer holistic care to his patients. Dr Pearse studied medicine at the University of Edinburgh, graduating with distinction, and completed foundation training in Glasgow. He subsequently moved to London and undertook core medical training at Charing Cross and Hammersmith Hospitals before cardiology specialist training on the north-west London rotation. Mr Andrew Pooley
Professional background Originally from Cornwall, Mr Pooley studied medicine at St George’s Hospital, London, graduating in 1987. Much of his junior medical training took place in South West London, but also further afield, with Professor Lord Winston at Hammersmith Hospital, and a year in Dublin. From 1995 to 1997 he was the Training Fellow in Minimal Access Surgery (keyhole surgery) with Professor Sutton in Guildford, in what was then one of only four training centres in the UK. He gained extensive experience in all aspects of keyhole surgery in gynaecology, with a special focus on published research on treatments for endometriosis, management of ectopic pregnancy and ablation of the endometrium for heavy periods. In 1999 Mr Pooley was appointed to Kingston Hospital as a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, with responsibility for establishing and promoting Minimal Access Surgery. He introduced laparoscopic laser surgery for endometriosis and novasure endometrial ablation to Kingston Hospital, along with other innovations. He is the only local gynaecologist accredited as a trainer in laparoscopic surgery by the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. Alongside his keyhole surgery interest, Mr Pooley has extensive experience in, and a modern approach to all aspects of general gynaecology, including prolapse, hormonal conditions, and the treatment of abnormal smear problems in colposcopy. Professional background Mr Porteous is an Ophthalmic Surgeon with a specialist interest in glaucoma and cataracts. He undertook a fellowship in glaucoma at the Western Eye Hospital and completed his ophthalmic specialty training in London, predominantly at Moorfields Eye Hospital and the Western Eye Hospital. Professional background Dr Claire Scott is a Consultant Community Paediatrician who provides advice, assessment and diagnosis for children with developmental and behavioural difficulties. These include speech and language delay, learning difficulties, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and social communication disorders (including the diagnosis of Asperger’s Syndrome and Autism). Professional background Dr Archana Rao is a Consultant Dermatologist and has the unique experience of training in dermatology both in the UK as well as overseas. She trained in dermatology and dermatosurgery at Imperial College, London. Dr Rao was appointed Consultant at Kingston Hospital NHS Trust since March 2014 and helped develop the community clinic at Rayne’s Park Health Centre to a high standard of care for the local community. Mr Siddiqui developed further sub-specialty skills and experience in all aspects of upper limb surgery during three specialist fellowships; one year at the world-renowned Brisbane Hand and Upper Limb Unit in Australia and a further year at two leading upper limb specialty units in the UK – Avon Orthopaedic Centre in Bristol and University Hospital Coventry. He was also awarded the prestigious Watanabe Travelling Fellowship, visiting several centres of surgical excellence around the UK specialising in shoulder and elbow surgery. Mr Siddiqui works as an NHS consultant in Trauma & Orthopaedics at Kingston Hospital. He specialises in shoulder, elbow and hand & wrist surgery and undertakes joint replacement surgery of the shoulder, elbow, and fingers. Professional background Miss Rashmi Singh BSc MBBS FRCS Urol MD is one of a very small number of consultant female urological surgeons in the country, thus offering a unique opportunity for patients to consult a lady doctor for any urinary problem. Miss Singh trained at Guys and St Thomas’ Medical School and undertook diverse urological training in the South Thames region. She has an MD in prostate cancer genetics and developed a sub-specialist expertise in kidney stone and upper tract disease. In addition to her general urology practice and experience with female urinary problems, Miss Singh offers laser and keyhole surgery for kidney stones and assessment and treatment of prostate disease. Miss Singh is also involved with the educational supervision and clinical training of junior doctors and is the Clinical Audit and Governance Lead for the Urology department at Kingston Hospital.
