VICTORIA BUTLER (BSC)

Victoria graduated from the University of Southampton in 2012 with a degree in Audiology. Victoria then spent several years working across both the NHS and private sectors. During this time, she was involved in teaching junior staff and students alongside gaining experience in personalised patient care. “I joined Leightons so that I could spend more time with my patients, allowing me to truly understand the individual’s needs. The fact that Leightons pride themselves on excellent patient care really appealed to me. I also really enjoy working with the latest hearing aids and accessories, as it is exciting to see the developments in technology. In my spare time I enjoy running, photography and cooking. I also love traveling and trying different foods and dishes from around the world.”

"I have been working at Leightons since 2001, and now work part-time to look after my three children as well. I love working for a family company who invest in the best equipment, products and expertise so they can provide all their customers with exceptional service. Outside work, I love dancing, fitness classes and photography, but most of all I love spending time with my family."

Sabena graduated from City University in London in 1990 and has worked in Surrey, Kent and Essex before coming to Sussex. She has worked for Leightons for over 20 years in various branches before moving to be at Haywards Heath full time in 1999. She is a keen fitness enthusiast and enjoys travelling, as well as spending time with family and friends.

"From my previous background studying Fine Art, I have an enjoyment for diligent methods of working. Previous employment has been in Adult Social Care and Aviation as a reablement support worker and long haul cabin crew, whereby I have always thrived working with people. As a WRC I love to help new and current patients, reassure and understand their individual needs. Every day there is success and a smile. From my first engagement with Leightons, I have felt truly welcome. I have a great team, technology and resources to help patients safely and efficiently remove wax and start their hearing journey. Everyone is valued - I love my job and working for Leightons, an independent family business. Outside of the clinic, I enjoy being active - running, swimming and playing stoolball. I enjoy travelling, particularly visiting Cornwall with my friends and family. I have a passion for art and walking and enjoy photographing nature at my allotment, especially the sunflowers."
