SALMAN CHATTA

Salman joined the Leightons team as a highly skilled audiologist following his time managing a large hearing care clinic in North London. Salman loves life at Leightons because… “Leightons put such an emphasis on patient-centred care, with longer appointment times and a commitment to every single patient, regardless of who they are. I also love working as part of a bigger team with everyone collectively doing their part.” Outside of work, Salman enjoys… Playing chess, boxing and going on short weekend trips away to Europe.

Sarah qualified as an Optometrist from the University of Ulster in 2000. She joined Leighton's in 2003 initially splitting her time between the Reading and Woodley branches. After having a family she now works part-time in Woodley and has been delivering high levels of patient care for over 20 years. Outside work Sarah enjoys spending time with her family and travelling back home to Northern Ireland.

Lubna has been working as an optometrist since 2012. She joined Leightons in 2019. Outside of work, Lubna is a keen traveller - Japan being one of her favourite trips. She is also a big foodie and loves baking in her spare time.

Indi joined Leightons in 2001. As a dedicated contact lens optician, Indi loves being able to take the time to find the best and most comfortable lenses for an individual. In her spare time, Indi enjoys being with family, reading, watching The Great British Bake Off and cooking.

Mark has been with Leightons since 2012. He has many years of dispensing experience and extensive product knowledge to help you choose your perfect frames, and is also the joker in the pack!

Denise has been part of the Leightons family for more than 20 years. In her spare time, Denise enjoys photography, swimming and spending time with her family.

Claire has worked at Leightons for five years. In her spare time, she enjoys city breaks, reading and Pilates.

Jessie is currently studying her A-Levels, taking Philosophy & Ethics, Geography and English Literature. When she is not studying she enjoys crocheting, reading and going to the movies.

Optical Hearing Assistant

ISABEL BLANCO

Having worked in retail for some time, Isabel decided to make a change in her career and now joins us here at Leightons as an Optical Hearing Assistant. Isabel loves life at Leightons because… She wanted to work for a company that shared her values, which is what she saw in Leightons - ensuring that both staff and patients alike are always made to feel welcome. Isabel also enjoys learning new skills at Leightons and further developing her career. Outside of work, Isabel enjoys… Film-making, art and collecting Japanese Maples.

Audiologist

OLIVIA BYERS (FDSC RHAD)

Olivia has been working as Hearing Aid Audiologist since 2014, working with both private and NHS clients in a variety of settings. She enjoys overcoming the challenges around the stigmas associated with hearing loss, and being part of a rapidly evolving technological landscape. Her passion in audiology is to provide the best patient-centred care possible, which is what attracted her to joining Leightons in the first place! In her spare time, Olivia enjoys cooking, reading and video games, and is currently learning to play the saxophone.
