Over the last 25 years, Dr Halfhide has developed a wide range of experiences with many different lasers and cosmetic techniques. His practice ranges across all aspects of dermatology with special interests in treating acne scarring (carbon dioxide, Erbium:YAG and Fraxel lasers) and laser mole removal and birth marks (Pulsed Dye and Nd:YAG picosecond lasers). He has many years of experience in laser treatment of rosacea, facial and leg thread veins, and pigmented lesions. He has carried out more than 20,000 anti ageing injectable treatments. He also carries out thread lifting, minor surgery, general dermatology diagnosis and prescribing. Typically he employs an array of these techniques to assist patients in looking younger, and others in their wish to treat a birthmark or other cosmetic imperfections of concern. Dr Jeremy Halfhide is licensed and regulated by the General Medical Council, having held a full license to practice medicine since 1989. As a firm believer in high standards and ethical medical practice, he has worked on sk:n’s Medical Standards Committee since 2015, the UK’s leading and largest laser and cosmetic dermatology groups. He started out with sk:n back in 1998 and has worked with them ever since, being their group medical director for London and the south of England since 2015. He was also invited to give his expert opinion on BBC Watchdog in 2018. Dr Halfhide’s approach is conservative, preferring to under- rather than over-treat. He ensures patients have a proper assessment; he seeks to completely understand the patient’s concerns so that he can then accurately meet the patient’s goals. He prefers to keep all enhancements within the standard patient anatomical range, that way ensuring a natural look. He is married to a doctor, they have 2 children of school age and a Labrador Bertie. His hobbies are sailing, skiing and keeping fit when time permits.

Dr. Ashley Hilton is a dual qualified doctor and dentist, pursuing a career in the very exciting field of Maxillofacial surgery, which involves reconstructions of the face and mouth. Dr. Hilton attained his medical degree from Cardiff University and his dental degree from King’s College London, ranked 1st in the world for dentistry. Dr. Hilton’s combination of knowledge & skills allowed him the unique opportunity to train in the most cutting edge laser treatments available today. He was trained by the world’s largest provider of laser cases. These innovative laser treatments provide what are undeniably the best results in areas such as skin rejuvenation and scar/acne scar remodelling. He is one of very few people in the world today who is able to provide fully ablative CO2 laser resurfacing. He has now undertaken over 100 cases of a combination of fractional & fully ablative CO2, as well as other treatments such as; FRAXEL; Halo; Vascular lesions; Mole/Wart removal and scar remodelling. At Sk:n, Dr. Hilton has significant experience in dermal fillers and botulinum toxin. Trained by Sk:n’s top-performing consultant in Botox & filler, he prides himself on being as precise, swift and pain-free as possible. His combined background of dentistry and surgical training have instilled in Dr. Hilton an eye for detail that only comes with years of practice. His understanding of anatomy and how it changes with age allows him to pinpoint the specific treatment required to restore a natural youthful appearance to your face. Dr. Hilton has a very calm, confident and friendly demeanour, which very quickly puts his patients at ease during treatments. He is also fluent in both French and Spanish.

With a special interest in Dermatology and Aesthetics, Dr Torkan Hirbod has spent the past six years deepening her experience and knowledge of Dermatology by working alongside Consultant Dermatologists in the running of rapid access clinics at two NHS Trust hospitals. Dr Torkan has successfully completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Dermatology at Queen Mary College, University of London (2007-2008) and has, over the past 6 years, also taken courses in various aspects of Aesthetics.

Mr Prateush Singh is a plastic surgeon currently practising at the Royal London Hospital. He graduated with distinction in medicine from Trinity College, University of Cambridge, and carried out research in vascularised tissue transplantation at Johns Hopkins University, USA. He also undertook speciality training in London clinically, and academically as an NIHR fellow. He is the editor of a textbook on plastic surgery, is widely published academically, with multiple international presentations, and is undertaking a PhD in facial reconstruction. His commitment to the field is reflected in his high attention to detail, patient manner and standards of care.

Dr. Shivani Dhar graduated from Free State University, Bloemfontein, South Africa, and has had an international career working in Cape Town and Ireland. She has undertaken prestigious aesthetic fellowships in Cape Town and is a certified Level 7 aesthetic injector. She is passionate about her NHS practice and her clinical research which has been widely published and internationally presented. Her commitment to her practice is reflected in her empirical and holistic approach to her patients; maintaining the highest levels of detail and care.
